Direct Benefit Transfer

DBT, launched in January 2013 is Government of India program to provide government benefits and subsidies directly to the account of the beneficiary.

Central Plan Scheme Monitoring System (CPSMS), implemented by the Office of Controller General of Accounts, acts as the common platform for routing DBT. CPSMS can be used for the preparation of the beneficiary list and digitally signing the same. CPSMS also facilitates processing of payments in the bank accounts of the beneficiary using the Aadhaar Payment Bridge of NPCI.

C-Edge has extended the DBT facility by building an interface between the banks CBS server and other government institutions like CPSMS, NPCI etc. This interface helps the authorities to transfer payments by all modes i.e. NEFT, RTGS, APBS, NACH, Intra Bank Transfer, and Internet Banking which are routed through CBS.
